This is the history, as best we know it, of the various appointed, elected and volunteer jobs people have taken on for the Houston Symphony Chorus. It is far from complete in two senses: The first is that there are obvious gaps and inaccuracies in this list. The second is that there are many people who have worked hard in various roles who are not recognized. For example, there are the people who have taken and published numerous photographs, organized our social media groups, provided snacks at our breaks -- etc, etc. Unfortunately, there is no written record of which we are aware of the history of most of these useful volunteers. In addition, there are some positions that were important in the old Chorale but have not been listed because there are no equivalent roles today (e.g. tickets, attendance review).
